Job Description

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 1+ years of previous auto advisor, parts counter and sales experience is required to be considered
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts (including aftermarket) industry
  • Superior customer service and communication skills are essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical components of automobile
  • Hold and maintain valid Ontario G driver's licence
  • Physically able to stand, sit and walk for long periods, perform repetitive lifting 30lbs-50lbs (pounds), overhead reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling throughout
  • Possess effective communication and organizational skills; English spoken, written and oral
  • Work well in a team environment and independently

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acts as liaison between customers and technicians and manages the status of work orders
  • Communicate directly with customers, managing their needs and expectations regarding auto service maintenance and repair
  • Work effectively with the auto parts ordering systems and computerized work order systems
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensures ongoing commitment to the needs of the customer and their vehicle
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner, over the phone and in person
  • Estimate cost and time for service and repairs needs. Ensures final invoice is the same as estimate and vehicle is delivered on time
  • Schedule service and repair appointments

EDUCATION
  • Must have completed Grade 12 Education

SHIFTS & COMPENSATION
  • Hourly wage range will be dependent on previous experience - $15.00-17.00
  • Must be available for 40+ hours per week, and shifts between Monday and Sunday, 8:00 am 6:00 pm
