Job Description

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years' administration/front desk reception/logistics (Shipping/Receiving) experience IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT is required
  • Experienced booking logistics: outbound international and domestic shipments via UPS and FedEx, PAPs, PARs
  • SAGE 50 experience required
  • Able to operate multi-line phone system
  • Customer service skills, dedicated, positive attitude, attention to details and focused
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Accurate data entry
  • Average typing speed of 40 WPM
  • Self-motivated team player that possess effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak English

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Logistics: complete shipping documents (incl. customs), adjust customer's shipping request form, negotiate rates
  • Front Desk Reception: direct customers and answer their inquiries when greeting, answering multiple line telephone system, general office duties
  • Answer multi-phone line system, greet and direct customers
  • Provide administrative support to the logistics department
  • Assisting with accounting duties with use of Sage 50
  • Assist other personnel when available and when required
  • Other duties as assigned

WAGE

  • $18.00 -$20.00 per hour - Dependent on skill level and previous experience

SHIFTS

  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotation: 7:00am - 3:00pm and 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Overtime may happen past end of day so must have open availability
