SKILLS

• 5+ years experience preferred
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with various types and grades of plastic resins
• Operation of overhead crane
• Strong organizational, written and communication skills and reasoning to identify solutions to problems
• Demonstrate personal time management skills
• Strong math and analytical skills and technical aptitude
• Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
• Using logic of hand tool, crane handling and procedures
• Strong knowledge in mold set-up, start, mold changes, trouble shooting defects, process adjustments, debugging and shutdown
• Team player
• Knowledge of Gas assist, Gas counter-pressure an asset
• Knowledge of any of the following machines: Milacron, Krauss-Maffei, Ube, Borche and HPM

Responsibilities

• Monitor & record mold performance to allow the customer to make the necessary adjustments to manufacture the highest quality product
• Work with and assist the maintenance department on any preventative maintenance that is required on machines, by providing feedback
• Work closely with Team Leads on new ideas to improve processing procedures or on anything that may improve quality or customer satisfaction
• Maintain clean work area and complete necessary paperwork
• may be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency.
