Industrial Electrician

SKILLS

• Must have 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must possess good knowledge of programmable logic (PLC) and have experience in Allen Bradley and Siemens
• Computer knowledge an asset
• Must be able to read, write, speak English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshooting of equipment
• Maintain equipment in a safe and good running condition
• Analyze problems, find permanent solutions and repair
• Prepare and complete preventative maintenance tasks
• Read and understand electrical schematics, programs, print out for relay and programmable logic
• Identify pneumatic and hydraulic components to read schematics
• Prepare written reports as required to effectively communicate with all Supervisors and other team members
• Execute and document work orders/check lists
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

• Must be a Certified Industrial Electrician (309A certification)
• Completion of Grade 12 education

SHIFTS & WAGE

• Rotation of days, afternoons, midnights
• $34.05/hr (union)
