Job Description

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Use of hand and power tools; pneumatic drills, rivet guns, caulking guns, grinders and sanders
  • Accurately read and use tape measure in metric and imperial

  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Punctual, Responsible, Dependable, no absenteeism
  • Physically able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds, overhead reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling
  • Possess effective communication and organizational skills; English read, write, speak

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Unload panels/skins from A-Frame (after being cut on CNC Router Table)
  • Use various pneumatic hand tools such as drills, table saw, rivet guns and caulking guns in a safe manner
  • Visually inspect panels for damages/scratches and advise Team Leader or Shop Foreman of any defects
  • Assist in crating and recording finished product/panels as to prevent damages during transportation
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

  • Completion of Grade 12 education or equivalent an asset

WAGE & SHIFTS

  • Steady Afternoon, 3:30 pm – 2:00 am, Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week - Possible mandatory or volunteer Friday shifts
  • Possible steady day shifts dependent on production needs
  • $16.00/hr
