Fabrication Machine Operator

Our very busy client in Lakeshore that is in both automotive and architectural sector is seeking an experienced Fabrication Machine Operator!
Not on a bus route!

Your wage & shifts:

• $17.59 per hour (includes shift premium)
• 12 hours continental shift schedule;
• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
• 2 weeks rotation of days/midnights

You will have:

• Mechanical aptitude / background
• Ability to work in a hot environment
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Effective communication reading, writing, speaking English

You will be doing:

• Following work order specifications
• Accurately measuring and cutting material
• Daily preventative maintenance checks on machines
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions
• Operating saws, CNC machines, and other fabrication equipment efficiently and safely
• Other duties as assigned

Your physical abilities:

• Physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time, perform repetitive lifting up to 40lbs, overhead reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling
