SKILLS:

• Sound working knowledge of: Hydraulics, Pneumatics/Schematics and Blueprints
• Preventive and predictive maintenance procedures
• Fabricating skills (Welding, etc.)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Working knowledge of electrical controls
• Knowledge of HVAC, PLCS, would be an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzes present condition of equipment and prepares preventative and predictive maintenance procedures and implements
• Fabricates guards and other structures as required
• Trouble shoots equipment failures and takes corrective action to make permanent repairs in a timely manner
• Able to identify electrical components
• Prepares written reports as required to communicate with supervisors and team members
• Daily execution of assigned mechanical preventive maintenance tasks,breakdown repairs and planned repairs
• Organizing external support and/or spare parts for urgent repairs
• Using and recording of correct data in the system (SAP-PM/OPRA)
• Must be willing to rotate 3 shifts

EDUCATION:

• Minimum Grade 12 Education
• 433A
