We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Tool Maker for our client in Leamington. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining specialized tools and machinery used in our manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and ensure high-quality production.

OVERVIEW
- Contract Full Time
- Start as a contract position, possibly leading to a permanent position.
- $30 - $36
- Hourly wage is based on work experience, skills and weld test results
- Must be a certified Tool / Mould Maker
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tool Maker or similar role
- Requires own transportation
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checking that production documents are complete
- Supplementing and correcting production documents in coordination with the Tooling Design department
- Checking functionalities and whether they can be executed
- Planning the work sequence and recording the equipment (e.g., for producing samples)
- Performing assembly work and checking the functionality of standard equipment (tools, jigs) as per drawings/functional descriptions
- Modifying and optimizing the equipment up to the final acceptance inspection
- Servicing and repairing equipment
- Producing parts using conventional production methods and as per the drawings
- Permanently checking the production feasibility
- Assisting with CIP measures
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a certified Tool / Mould Maker
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tool Maker or similar role
- Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics of equipment
- Experience with 3-D dies
- Versed in GD&T
- Knowledge of hydraulic presses and automated coil feed lines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of machine tooling materials and their applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
