Our client needs a Yard Worker / Delivery Driver to join their growing team. If you enjoy working outdoors and possess a clean driving record this role gives you the opportunity to grow. Our client would like you to have a VALID G license but prefer VALID D license
Responsibilities
- Organize, arrange, and verify materials for required shipments
- Bundling gear, operating forklifts, helping to organize shipments
- Counting and verifying delivery/return tickets, assisting with inventory counts
- Organize and clean warehouse and yard
- Safely and efficiently load, deliver and unload shipments using a Flatbed truck throughout Windsor / Essex County
- Additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have class G license with 5 years’ experience (clean CVOR & Driver Abstract)
- 1 year Yard Work experience
- DZ license & HIAB boom certification an asset
- Articulating forklift license and experience an asset
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Work Conditions
- Monday to Friday 8 – 4:30
- Work will be primarily outdoors
