Job Description

Our client in Leamington is looking for a Payroll Clerk who can process a full cycle payroll on a large scale.


  • Management of the full payroll cycle
  • Ensure payroll calculation accuracy by monitoring, validating and correcting time sheets
  • Update and maintain employee data in the payroll system
  • Process bank transfers
  • Prepare record of employments
  • Generate payroll reports for month end processes
  • Prepare payroll journal entries
  • Participate in year-end processes
  • Preparation of government reports
  • Participate in improving payroll processing procedures
  • Support the manager with various projects
  • Other related tasks as required


  • Meticulous, organized and rigorous
  • Autonomy, efficiency and ability to handle several files at once
  • Ability to manage priorities and to manage pressure and deadlines
  • Discretion, protect the confidentiality of information and records
  • Hold a Diploma or Degree in the field of Accounting or Payroll
  • 3 years’ experience performing similar duties
  • Proficiency with payroll systems
  • Standing member of the Canadian Payroll Association (an asset)
