Yard Worker

Our client is growing and require a couple Yard Worker to join their team. If you enjoy working outdoors and possess a clean driving record this role gives you the opportunity to grow. Our client may also help you obtain your Class DZ license or other certifications to help further your career.

Responsibilities

• Organize, arrange, and verify materials for required shipments
• Bundling gear, operating forklifts, helping to organize shipments
• Counting and verifying delivery/return tickets, assisting with inventory counts
• Organize and clean warehouse and yard
• Safely and efficiently load, deliver and unload shipments using a Flatbed truck throughout Windsor / Essex County
• Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have class G license with 5 years’ experience (clean CVOR & Driver Abstract)
• Telehandler certificate is an asset
• 1 year Yard Work experience
• DZ license & HIAB boom certification an asset
• Articulating forklift license and experience an asset
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Work Conditions

• Monday to Friday 8 – 4:30
• Work will be primarily outdoors
